To obtain your level 3 qualification, you will need to achieve the following:

| Knowledge based units |
NVQ/Certificate in Management. This component will have a total of 25 credits and is divided into competency and knowledge based units.There are 3 mandatory core units with a total of 14 credits and a variety of optional units to choose from which must total 11 credits. |
| A Technical Certificate | This component consists of Knowledge based units relevant to this level of management. |
| Key Skills or Functional Skills | Key Skills Level 2. Communication and Application of Number at level 2 must be achieved. |
| Employment responsibilities and rights |
This component must be completed by all Apprentices. |
Advanced Apprenticeships, which can follow on from Apprenticeships, can lead to an HNC, HND or Degree-level qualifications.
This award is for those you work in any setting who have the responsibility of supervising others.
If you are a team leader, room leader or line manager, then this qualification is for you.
This is a generic award and is suitable for anyone who has senior management responsibilities within their work place.
We will shortly be able to deliver Advanced Apprenticeships in Management.
This qualification is for those who are responsible for managing a care setting.
It is currently a Level 4 qualification but is due to be replaced with a level 5 qualification.
