An Apprenticeship (Level 2)
Customer Service is about solving people’s problems, and dealing with their concerns in a way which gives them peace of mind. As more and more business is conducted over the phone and on-line, customer service has become increasingly important.
If you are a service-orientated person who can communicate well you should find a career in customer service very rewarding.
The level 2 Apprenticeship will give you the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service in a wide range of sectors – with some guidance and supervision.
The range of possible job roles is great. For example, you could work in a call centre, a hotel, a bank, a ticket office, a shop or a sports centre. Typical activities include: reception duties, answering the phone, greeting and assisting clients, photocopying, storing and retrieving information, using word processing software and providing general office support to other members of staff.
To get your Level 2 qualification, you will need to achieve the following:
