Community Events
We at Heathercroft Training Academy understand the benefits of being in touch with the local community.
Many of our students live and work locally and so often take part themselves in community events.
Over the past few years members of HTA staff have taken part in the annual Race for Life. The event is organised by Cancer Research and Tesco and is a sponsored event aimed at raising enough money to be able to continue research into a disease that could affect any one of us.
We have taken part in this event several times now and this year a group from HTA will be participating again
You may have seen from other pages on our web site that we deliver Horse Care awards to both school learners and Apprentices.
We have sponsored a few awards given at local horse shows in the past and this year is no exception.
On Sunday 8th May, Heathercroft Training Academy were present at an equestrian event held at The Golden Cross Equestrian Centre just out side Eastbourne.
Competitors from as young as 2 and 3 competed to win various awards, including a cup sponsored by HTA.
We are proud to be able to claim that one of our IT Apprentices has been one of the many artists that have transformed the side of the building at the Archery Road Community Centre in Eastbourne.
